1 Peter 4:7-11 (NKJV)

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

We are living in the end time and evil is increasing on a daily basis. Therefore, you need to be very careful on how you live. You must also give more attention to prayer. One of the virtues that will help us remain relevant to God is love. The bible says in 1 John 4:7-8, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God.” We must endeavour to live a life of love.

Caring and bearing one another’s burden is one of the things God expects from Christians. Galatians 6:2 admonishes; “Bear ye one another’s burden” especially in this end time when men shall be lovers of themselves (2 Tim. 3:2).

The gifts of God in your life are for the benefits of others or you will end up depriving other people their benefits that are in your hands. However, we should also operate within the limit of God’s grace in our lives.

Finally, you must remember that you are God’s spokesman (oracle) and as such you should as a matter of integrity, say what God will want you to say, and avoid the temptation of saying what God did not say in order to please people or gain cheap popularity.

Prayer: Lord keep me sober and vigilant, loving and glorifying you alone lest I fall astray.
